Burr Bench Technician – 1st and 2nd Shift, Vermont Location

Burr Bench Technician- Responsible for deburring and cleaning precision machined parts as instructed by customer specifications or the Quality Department. Responsible for running part tumbler and ultrasonic cleaner when needed. Will occasionally assist in packaging and/or assembly departments.

Job Duties:

  • Completely deburr and clean, according to work instructions, machined parts using a variety of methods and equipment.
  • Adhere to Pre-Tech’s production standards and prioritize workload to meet on time delivery at the direction of the Shop Manager.
  • Adhere to ISO 9001 manufacturing and AS9100 aerospace production standards, and log time in shop organization system.
  • Promote continuous improvement regarding eliminating waste, improving efficiency, and reducing rework. Perform visual inspection on all products.

Qualification/Skills:

  • Familiarity and knowledge of various deburring tools & cleaning methods.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
  • Positive attitude
  • Education: High school diploma or equal experience.
