SCOPE:
Manufacturing Assembler-Responsible for part assembly, installing components, helical inserts, and other mechanical assemblies.
CORE DUTIES:
- Assemble a wide variety of precision components with attention to detail and quality.
- Adhere to Pre-Tech’s production standards and prioritize workload to meet on-time delivery at the direction of the Shop Manager.
- Responsible for housekeeping and organization of Assembly area.
- Work with Quality department to promote zero defect philosophy and adhere to quality work instructions.
- Promote continuous improvement regarding waste elimination, improving efficiency, and reducing rework parts. Visually inspect all parts that come through Assembly department.
EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCY:
- Manual dexterity needed to accomplish precise assembly tasks.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Education: High school diploma or equal experience.
