The Tool Crib Operator oversees the assembly and kitting of all machine tooling and fixtures for the manufacturing floor. Also maintains tooling and fixture inventory, and other related duties as needed.

Scope:
The Tool Crib Operator oversees the assembly and kitting of all machine tooling and fixtures for the manufacturing floor. Also maintains tooling and fixture inventory, and other related duties as needed.
Core Duties
- Assembles and prepares machine tooling for manufacturing jobs.
- Responsible for housekeeping of caged secured tooling and fixture area.
- Works with Engineering/Manufacturing departments to maintain tooling organization and reorder system.
- Maintains kitting / fixture system.
- Responsible for company owned tooling.
- Responsible for assigning and logging fixtures in and out of inventory.
- Assigns numbers and locations for new fixtures and custom tooling.
- Other related duties as needed. Possible backup for Saw / Shipping and Receiving operations.
Experience & Competency
- 2 to 4 years in a machine shop environment preferred.
- Experience working in ISO 9001/AS9100 manufacturing environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods when required.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs.
- Competence with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) preferred.
- Ability to read measuring instruments such as micrometer, calipers, etc.
- US Citizenship is required.
